UE-Afrique du Sud: les partenaires appellent au renforcement de leur coopération

Le Président Sud-africain S.E. Cyril Ramaphosa était à Bruxelles jeudi 15 novembre 2018, pour prendre part au 7ème sommet Union européenne-Afrique du Sud. Accueilli par Donald Tusk, Président du Conseil de l’Union européenne, les deux partenaires et leurs délégations ont renouvelé leurs rencontres après 5 années d’interruption et ont échangé sur un éventail de sujets au cours d’une plénière.

Créée pour favoriser le marché intra-africain dont le taux très faible tourne autour de 15%, la Zone de Libre-échange Continentale Africaine débattu lors de la 3ème semaine africaine au PE présente de nombreux avantages mais aussi d’énormes défis à relever. La réussite de sa mise en vigueur est un gage vers l’indépendance économique du continent africain.
